Choreographer

The artistic designer behind the dance/movement in our production. This position requires previous dance experience. Previous experience choreographing, and with musical theatre dance styles is an asset.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:
● Holding auditions and casting the show (in collaboration with the Director and Music Director).
● Creating the dances for each number with the Director’s vision in mind, and with the intent of showcasing the strengths of the dancers involved.
● Working closely with the Creative Team and Stage Manager to assure that the actors are being supported.
● Keeping the overall morale up through the rehearsal process.
● Ensure all actors are warmed up before every dance/movement rehearsal and every performance.
