Vocal Director

The leader of the musical/instrumental aspects of the show, specifically rehearsals with the orchestra. This position requires the ability to sight read and play piano. Previous experience teaching voice is an asset.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:
● Teaching vocal material and choral numbers to cast members.
● Providing vocal notes and supporting cast members with their sung pieces.
● Liaising with the Music Director to ensure pieces are being understood in the same way by both cast members and band members.
● Leading vocal warmups at the start of rehearsals and performances.
● Providing additional support for challenging material where needed (such as offering one-on-one coachings).
